PowerDirector – Three Ways of Making Titles Pop Using Backgrounds

One of the main difficulties in creating effective titles in video editing software is definitely not a lack of tools or options!

In the video below shown in PowerDirector you can see that the level of control you have over titling is immense.

The real stopping point you will hit is a lack of expertise in the field of design.

So rather than taking a full course in graphic design here are a few ideas for getting those titles looking good!

How to Get More Views on YouTube in 2023

The never ending problem for many, many content creators on YouTube is coming up with ideas for another video.

For some people who do nothing but live, eat and breathe the topic of their YouTube channel this is usually not a problem.

But for most of us we are not single mindedly obsessed with whatever topics we cover.

We are certainly interested in that topic and interested to a level above the average but it is not the only thing in our lives!

If you are in that boat then check out the video below for some ideas to jog that creative process along a little.

Filmora 12 Beautify Effect is not Working. Here is How it Works.

Most software these days has some kind of beautifying effect included with it.

The thing with these effects is that they need to analyse the video and then isolate the face.

From there it tries to determine what elements of that face are diverging from a vast set of data it has been trained to recognize as “beauty.”

Now of course when you look at it like that it all seems a little silly but the reality is that they simply can’t do it all.

The real beautify effect is to get good footage in the first place.

If you do want to use there filters make sure to take sometime to adjust them so you don’t end up looking like a plastic bot!

Instantly Transcribe Your Entire Video with Punctuation! – DaVinci Resolve

Like most video editing programs these days DaVinci resolve introduced direct access to “Speech to Text” capabilities.

Given the complexity of the interface you could be forgiven for either not seeing it or not knowing how to get to it!

So in the video below you can see how to do it.

Easy PSD Logo Animation in Fusion – DaVinci Resolve Motion GFX for Beginners

This is a slightly more advanced tutorial in the series by Casey Faris on working in the Fusion Page of DaVinci Resolve.

If you check out the video below you will see that Casey is working with an image that has a few elements to it.

If that image was just a .png file you could of course mask the elements individually and apply motion to them.

However if those elements were added to the image in layers in a program like Photoshop or similar then things just got way easier!

The cool thing is that DaVinci can deal with the individual layers so you can apply motion to any layer completely independent of the others.
