On Tuesday afternoon, its experts held an update on the status of the virus and vaccines.As we enter the fourth year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hopkins experts said it isn’t going anywhere and that we all have to learn to live with it to some degree.| RELATED: State Center COVID-19 testing, vaccination site closes in BaltimoreBut they said newer and better vaccines are in the pipeline.”There are some that I’m particularly excited about. Those include the nasal vaccines. These will induce immunity in the mucosa of the nasal pharynx, the site of the initial viral replication, and may prevent infection and reduce transmission.
